About the Company
Revere Staffing Partners is looking for an experienced Bearings Manufacturing Engineering Manager on behalf of our client — a well-established, family-owned, ISO 9001-registered American manufacturer of precision bearings, metal stampings, and machined components.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Design Engineer, you'll lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of bearing components, assemblies, tooling, and manufacturing processes while providing technical leadership to the engineering team. This is a direct hire opportunity — you'll be employed by the client from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Manufacturing Engineering team — set priorities, assign resources, develop talent, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Provide applications engineering support to Sales: design layouts, sales drawings, cost models, and customer technical support
- Design bearing assemblies and components using DFMA principles; review customer and build-to-print designs for manufacturability
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling methodologies, work instructions, and engineering change notices
- Design progressive and compound dies for bearing components (jackets, ball cases, races, retainers) and partner with toolmakers through build, troubleshooting, and implementation
- Support PPAP development, process validation, capability studies, control plans, and corrective actions in an ISO environment
- Lead Kaizen/Lean initiatives targeting scrap reduction, setup time, tooling life, and cost savings
- Manage engineering projects from concept through launch — on time and on budget
Qualifications
- Bearing design and/or bearing manufacturing experience (must-have)
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing environments
Required Skills
- 3\+ years of supervisory or engineering team leadership experience
- Experience with metal stamping, progressive die design, machining, heat treating, and assembly operations
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (equivalent experience considered)
- Experience in ISO-certified manufacturing environments
Preferred Skills
- AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel/Access
- Blueprint reading and GD\&T
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: $150,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
