Job Description

Drive end-to-end supply chain efficiency from supplier to retail shelf while minimizing delivery costs. Oversee and optimize processes across production, procurement, product configuration, warehousing, distribution, and financial forecasting. Ensure all operations are executed safely, efficiently, and accurately to enhance plant performance in Safety, Quality, and Reliability (SQR).

Responsibilities

  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices in planning and materials management
  • Lead, coach, and evaluate direct reports; conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback
  • Collaborate with merchandising and sales planning teams to align production and procurement with customer demand
  • Utilize and promote PRISM inventory control system to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Oversee procurement of ingredients, packaging, and finished goods to support production needs
  • Manage production scheduling to optimize customer service, working capital, and operational reliability
  • Develop and implement processes that drive continuous improvement and cross-functional accountability
  • Support the development and management of raw material and finished goods budgets
  • Coordinate production planning for new product launches
  • Oversee inventory and vendor supply of outsourced finished goods
  • Provide buyers with timely forecasts for commodities, ingredients, and packaging materials
  • Partner with Marketing to identify and reduce slow-moving or obsolete inventory
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of SQF systems
  • Work in environments that may include exposure to food allergens
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 4\+ years of supply chain experience within the food industry
  • Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to interpret complex data, identify relationships, and design effective workflows

Desired Qualifications

  • 6\+ years of supply chain experience in the food industry
  • Knowledge of integrated planning systems such as MRP and DRP
  • Background in food processing and packaging
