Position Overview

As our Marketing Specialist, you’ll lead social media initiatives, support business development, plan and execute high‑impact events, and help drive meaningful connections with clients and prospects. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role for someone who thrives in a variety‑filled workday and enjoys seeing their ideas come to life.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy \& Planning

  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and execute the annual marketing plan aligned with firm growth goals
  • Identify new marketing and business development opportunities
  • Plan and execute business‑building events and community initiatives

Digital Marketing \& Content Creation

  • Develop and execute multichannel marketing campaigns across social media, email, and website platforms
  • Create original, engaging content to increase reach and engagement
  • Design marketing materials using Canva
  • Support advisor LinkedIn campaigns and website updates
  • Implement lead‑generation initiatives and content marketing strategies
  • Apply SEO best practices to enhance visibility and organic traffic

Social Media Management

  • Manage firm social media channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Schedule posts, monitor engagement, analyze performance, and optimize campaigns

Events \& Experiences

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee events-from community outreach to client dinners and corporate functions-ensuring seamless execution from start to finish
  • Manage post‑event follow‑ups to support relationship building and pipeline growth
  • Oversee branded gift sourcing, inventory, and delivery

Client \& Prospect Engagement

  • Understand target audiences and tailor messaging and outreach accordingly
  • Maintain accurate, organized CRM data to support efficiency and reporting
  • Manage follow‑ups after events and client activities

Branding, Compliance \& Operations

  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with Ameriprise guidelines and brand standards
  • Assist with monitoring the marketing budget and cost‑effective resource use
  • Support special projects, product launches, and firm initiatives as needed

Analytics \& Optimization

  • Monitor campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and platform insights
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline campaigns and nurture leads
