Job Description
About The Earth Saviours Foundation
The Earth Saviours Foundation (TESF) is one of India's most recognised humanitarian organisations. For over two decades we have served abandoned senior citizens, mentally challenged individuals, and the homeless — providing shelter, care, and dignity to people the system has left behind.
About the Philanthropic Ventures Wing
We are launching a new division built to scale our impact through professionally managed, high-performance initiatives. This is not a conventional NGO setup. We are building a corporate-grade team with the ambition, systems, and execution standards of a fast-growing company. The only difference is that our bottom line is measured in lives changed.
You do not need a background in the social sector to apply. You need to be excellent at what you do.
About the Role
As Marketing Communications Manager, you own how this wing is seen, understood, and remembered — across both earned and owned channels. Media relations and press strategy, brand and campaign marketing, digital and social, donor communications, and above all, storytelling that makes our ventures visible, credible, and impossible to ignore.
This is a genuinely dual role. Roughly half your week is public relations: building press relationships, pitching stories, handling spokespeople, and protecting the organisation's reputation. The other half is marketing: campaigns, digital growth, and donor-facing communications that convert attention into support.
You will be telling real stories about real people. That comes with an obligation: our work is communicated with dignity, accuracy, and consent, never with pity.
What You Will Do
- Define and own the brand strategy and messaging architecture for the Philanthropic Ventures Wing
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital, social, and earned media
- Build and manage relationships with journalists, editors, and media platforms across print, digital, and broadcast
- Write and pitch press releases, media notes, and story angles; secure and track coverage for our ventures
- Prepare leadership for interviews and public appearances; act as first point of contact for media queries
- Own reputation management and crisis communications protocol for the wing
- Produce donor-facing communications: impact reports, newsletters, campaign collateral, and pitch narratives
- Own social media strategy and content calendars; grow reach and engagement against defined targets
- Develop a storytelling library — case studies, films, photo essays — sourced ethically from the field
- Work closely with Business Development to make ventures fundable, and with Design to make them beautiful
- Track and report performance: reach, engagement, media value, donor conversion
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline — marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, liberal arts, or other
- 2 to 6 years of combined experience across marketing and public relations
- Demonstrable press coverage you have secured, and campaigns you have run with results you can point to
- Existing relationships with Indian journalists and editors are a significant advantage
- Excellent writing in English; strong spoken and written Hindi. You will be drafting press releases in both.
- Working proficiency with social platforms, analytics tools, email marketing, and content management systems
- Composure and judgement under media scrutiny
- Editorial ethics when handling sensitive human stories — consent, dignity, and accuracy are non-negotiable here
Applications with attached work samples will be given preference.
Please attach a portfolio, campaign case studies, or links to coverage you secured.

- Growth:
leadership opportunities as the wing scales
- Access:

- Meaning:
