About the Role

Riskin Partners Real Estate Group is seeking an exceptional Marketing Coordinator to support one of Montecito's top luxury real estate teams. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who loves both creativity and execution and takes pride in producing polished, high-quality work.

The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Marketing and works closely with the broader team to execute the firm's marketing initiatives. This role is designed for someone who enjoys collaborating, taking ownership of projects, and contributing to a high-performing, detail-oriented environment.

A key focus of this position is managing the team's social media presence by creating engaging, on-brand content, editing short-form videos, and capturing compelling moments at listings, events, and behind-the-scenes that showcase our properties, team, and the Montecito lifestyle.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and resourceful. They anticipate needs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate clearly, and maintain exceptional attention to detail. Success in this position requires someone who enjoys ownership, thrives under deadlines, and consistently follows through.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Montecito, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility for early morning or evening property photo/video shoots and events.

  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn new platforms and systems
  • Passionate about Santa Barbara, Montecito, luxury real estate, and exceptional customer service
  • Willing to pitch in wherever needed to support the team's success

Qualifications

  • 2\+ years of experience in marketing, communications, branding, or project coordination
  • Luxury brand or real estate marketing experience preferred
  • California real estate license or willingness to obtain one within six months
  • Strong proficiency with Canva, Adobe Acrobat, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and social media platforms
  • Experience with short-form video editing and social media content creation using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
  • Experience with InDesign, CRM systems, website management, and project management software is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between properties and appointments
  • California real estate license preferred. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing to enroll in coursework and obtain their California real estate license within six months of starting the position.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing \& Creative

  • Manage the team's social media channels by planning, creating, editing, scheduling, and publishing engaging content aligned with the brand
  • Capture photo and video content at listings, events, and day-to-day team activities using a smartphone or camera to support social media and marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns for luxury listings from launch through close
  • Produce and proofread brochures, presentations, websites, digital assets, and print collateral
  • Draft compelling property descriptions, social media captions, email campaigns, and marketing copy
  • Manage listing websites and ensure information remains current and accurate
  • Assist with advertising strategy and placement across digital and print channels
  • Track campaign performance and maintain marketing reports and databases

Project Management

  • Support the Director of Marketing in managing project timelines, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Coordinate photography, videography, floor plans, staging, vendor scheduling, and other listing-related logistics
  • Support the Director of Marketing during property photography and videography sessions by coordinating logistics, styling spaces, and helping ensure the final product reflects the team's luxury brand standards
  • Anticipate issues before they arise and communicate solutions clearly
  • Maintain organized workflows, checklists, and marketing calendars

Administrative \& Team Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Director of Marketing as needed
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and database integrity
  • Prepare weekly agendas, presentations, and internal marketing materials
  • Assist with distribution of marketing publications and promotional materials
  • Keep the office organized and presentation-ready
  • Support special events, client initiatives, and day-to-day operational needs
  • Perform occasional local errands related to listings, marketing, or office operations

Compensation

$75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. Opportunities for growth and increased responsibility are available for the right candidate.
