Job Description

Our direct client is looking for a Marketing Project Manager for a 3 – 5 month contract, to help the client out while someone is on leave.

Remote

Must work Pacific Time Zone hours

Looking for someone based on West Coast area, is ideal

The client is looking for a Junior Marketing Project Manager

Must have Min 1 year of Monday.com experience

Seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and emotionally intelligent person to oversee the creative projects, workflows, resources, and quality assurance within our team. This person will help to ensure our team operates efficiently and communicates effectively, delivering high-quality creative work on time and within scope.

As a key player in the creative process, they will manage the end-to-end flow of projects, including coordinating resources, maintaining timelines, and managing communication across internal teams and external partners to ensure the seamless execution of creative initiatives. The ability to lead with empathy, foresight, and a solutions-oriented mindset will be crucial to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Oversee the entire creative process, from project request through to final delivery.
  • Ensure that each project follows the appropriate review and approval processes.
  • Provide regular status updates to key stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project progress.
  • Workflow Management:
  • Establish and manage clear workflows using shared dashboards to ensure team members know their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Set up projects in Monday.com, assign stakeholders, develop schedules, and ensure that communication and pertinent files are stored in an organized manner for easy access.
  • Resource Management:
  • Collaborate with the Head of Creative \& Content to determine the appropriate resources and ensure all stakeholders stay on task and meet deadlines throughout the creative process.
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM):
  • Oversee the management of all creative assets and files, ensuring they are stored in a single location for easy access, repurposing, and retrieval.
  • Maintain an organized digital asset library and ensure all files are tagged appropriately for future use.

  • Emotional Intelligence \& Leadership:
  • Able to lead with empathy and understanding while maintaining the ability to hold the team accountable to deadlines and quality standards.
  • A strong ability to balance creativity with practical project management skills to keep projects on track.
  • Understanding of the Creative Process:
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and the creative process from brief to final delivery.
  • Ability to assess project timelines realistically, understanding both creative and business needs.
  • Skilled at navigating the challenges faced by creative teams, with a keen sense of how business decisions impact creative work.
  • Project Management Expertise:
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of guiding teams to successful project completion.
  • Experience using Monday.com to manage projects, resourcing, and scheduling, with a clear understanding of how to use dashboards, timelines, and other tools to monitor progress and how each project rolls up to overarching corporate objectives and initiatives.
  • Strategic Thinking \& Problem-Solving:
  • Able to evaluate existing workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and eliminate unnecessary delays.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to quickly pivot and adapt when situations arise that may impact the schedule or process.
  • Organized \& Detail-Oriented:
  • Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to keep multiple moving parts on track simultaneously.
  • Willing to adapt to changing priorities and schedules, remaining flexible and open-minded when necessary.
