Job Description
We are building something ambitious in Luxembourg.
For our new entity, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer ready to contribute to the development of advanced space transportation technologies and next-generation cryogenic systems.
You will work on enabling technologies that support the future of space mobility, from zero-boil-off cryogenic architectures to in-space propellant storage and transfer systems.
If you enjoy turning complex system requirements into robust, manufacturable hardware and want to grow within a high-technology, fast-evolving team, this role is for you.
Technology Focus
Our Luxembourg team contributes to cutting-edge developments including:
- Zero-boil-off cryogenic systems
- In-space cryogenic propellant storage
- Cryogenic fluid transfer in vacuum and microgravity environments
These technologies are key enablers for sustainable orbital operations and future deep-space missions.
Your Mission
As part of our Engineering team in Luxembourg, you will:
🔹 Design and develop 3D models and mechanical assemblies
🔹 Produce manufacturing-ready drawings (GD\&T, tolerances, material specs)
🔹 Contribute to mechanical architecture and system layout
🔹 Perform basic structural and thermal assessments (hand calculations \& FEA support)
🔹 Participate in design reviews and configuration management
🔹 Work closely with suppliers to ensure manufacturability
🔹 Support integration and test preparation activities
🔹 Maintain structured engineering documentation and PLM records
You will be directly involved in transforming innovative concepts into real, high-performance hardware.
Who We Are Looking For
Candidates must have the right to work in Luxembourg / EU at the time of application.
You are:

✔ 3–4 years experienced in mechanical design
✔ Strong in CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX or similar)
✔ Comfortable producing detailed, production-ready drawings
✔ Familiar with structural design fundamentals
✔ Used to working in multidisciplinary technical environments
And above all:
You like hands-on engineering, you take ownership, and you enjoy solving real technical challenges.
Nice to Have
➕ Experience in cryogenics, aerospace, or high-performance systems
➕ Familiarity with ECSS standards
➕ Knowledge of vacuum systems, piping layouts, or thermal hardware
