We are working with a satellite manufacturer developing next-generation spacecraft for low-Earth orbit and are looking for an
Onsite Mechanical Engineer
to support spacecraft structures and payload development.
This role covers the full lifecycle of satellite mechanical systems, from early trade studies and design through integration, testing, and production support.
What you will be doing
- Mechanical and structural design of spacecraft hardware and MGSE
- Supporting trade studies covering mass, performance, cost, and system architecture
- Developing and maintaining mechanical documentation including drawings and test procedures
- Supporting and executing structural testing such as static load, vibration, shock, and TVAC
- Investigating hardware anomalies and performing root cause analysis
- Providing hands-on support during assembly, integration, and test
What we are looking for
- 3\+ years of experience in mechanical or structural engineering within spacecraft or launch vehicle programs
- Strong background in satellite structures, payloads, and launch environments
- Experience with CAD tools such as Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, or CREO
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to operate in a fast-paced development environment.
