Job Summary:
A mechanical engineer is a pivotal and practical position, responsible for implementing the company's engineering design management strategy in relation to his scope of work. Providing technical expertise in the field of mechanical engineering in all its branches for all the company's projects assigned to the technical department through all stages of projects, where it performs all mechanical engineering tasks and ensures that they comply with the special and general statutory codes and requirements.
Responsibilities are not limited to:
- Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings (IFC, shop drawings, as-built).
- Knowledge of codes and standards (SBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA).
- Understanding of materials, installation methods, and testing procedures.
- Planning and tracking progress.
- Coordination with civil, electrical, and architectural teams.
- Cost awareness and material control.
- Clear communication with consultants and subcontractors.
- Excel (BOQ, tracking, material logs).
- Experience in dealing with consultants/contractors/subcontractors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4-6 Years relevant experience.
- Strong computer skills including AutoCAD and Revit
