Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Medical Billing Specialist to join our team on-site in St. Petersburg, FL. The role involves managing medical billing processes, reviewing and resolving claim denials, staying informed of current coding standards, and ensuring compliance with Medicare and insurance policies. Additionally, this position requires maintaining precise patient and billing records while working closely with insurance providers to maximize revenue cycle efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Terminology to ensure accurate communication and billing processes.
• Experience in handling claim Denials and working with Insurance policies to resolve issues and secure reimbursements.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding practices and regulations.
• Familiarity with Medicare guidelines and requirements in medical billing.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with insurance companies and healthcare providers.
• Prior experience in medical billing and coding is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a certification in medical billing or a related field is a plus.
