ML Platform Engineer

Your mission

We're looking for an

ML Platform Engineer

who helps us scale our AI infrastructure and optimize our data operations.

As a key technical contributor, you'll own the analytics infrastructure that powers our decision-making, build robust data pipelines that feed our AI models, and dive deep into both customer and internal data to unlock optimization opportunities. You'll work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of everything from database architecture to AI model refinement.

What you'll do

• Run experiments to refine AI models and refine prompts and LLM pipelines
• Analyze customer data and internal process flows to identify optimization opportunities
• Build and maintain data pipelines and analytics infrastructure on top of our databases
• Perform process mining on both our internal workflows (data processing pipelines) and customer usage patterns
• Design and implement dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders
• Refine AI model outputs and analyze performance metrics

Your profile

• Python proficiency for data analysis and pipeline building
• Strong SQL skills: you should be comfortable writing complex queries
• Data wrangling
• Familiarity with cloud computing
• Understanding of Machine Learning concepts including transformer architectures
• Ability to work independently and figure things out
• You’re ambitious, resilient and willing to work in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
• You work well in a team while also taking ownership when something needs to be driven forward
• Bonus: Familiarity with data warehousing, or workflow analysis
• Bonus: German language proficiency

To tap this potential in the long term, scalable processes and the effective use of existing product and process knowledge are crucial.

Our AI operating system for manufacturing service enables the automation of service processes such as ordering spare parts, planning on-site visits by service technicians or answering technical questions. Our AI agents are end-to-end integrated into the customer's IT systems and based on existing expert knowledge. As a result, service employees can focus on the truly complex cases, and processing times for customers are significantly reduced.

About The Founders

We are Benedikt and Etienne, the co-founders of lytra.

• Etienne has an academic background in mechanical engineering and innovation management. He has worked at industry leaders such as BMW or Mercedes-Benz and successfully founded Spreadly before starting lytra.
• Benedikt has an academic background in computer science and media, as well as AI and was lead software engineer and one of the first employees at iAtros. In this role, he was instrumental to the company’s successful exit to Avi Medical.
