Job Description
About The Role
The role is responsible for driving the architecture, development, and performance of native mobile applications that serve millions of active users. The team focuses on building intuitive, fluid user experiences while ensuring the underlying mobile infrastructure is highly modular, performant, and reliable.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, and backend engineers to define API contracts, design complex client-side architectures, and ship high-impact features that elevate the core mobile experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-performance native applications using Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android
- Architect clean, testable client-side codebases utilizing modern architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture
- Optimize application performance, startup times, memory usage, and network efficiency across a wide range of devices
- Collaborate with backend engineering teams to design and integrate robust, type-safe REST and GraphQL APIs
- Implement automated testing suites, including unit tests, UI automation tests, and integration tests to ensure continuous delivery pipeline stability
- Participate in code reviews, design docs, and API contract definitions, fostering high engineering standards across the mobile team
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience specializing in native mobile development (iOS or Android)
- Deep proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK (UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine) OR Kotlin and the Android SDK (Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow)
- Strong understanding of mobile concurrency, memory management, offline storage, and state management
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions) and App Store / Google Play Console deployment processes
- Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional programming design patterns
- Bonus: Experience with GraphQL, building custom design systems, or managing multi-module monorepos at scale
