Job Description
About The Role
The role is responsible for driving the architecture, development, and maintenance of native mobile applications that serve millions of active users. The team focuses on building highly responsive, visually polished, and reliable mobile interfaces that sit at the core of the user experience.
This position requires working closely with product managers, product designers, and backend engineers to define API contracts, implement complex local state management, and optimize rendering performance across a diverse fleet of iOS and Android devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features using Swift/SwiftUI for iOS or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for Android platforms.
- Optimize application performance, targeting fluid 60fps rendering, minimal memory footprints, and efficient network payload handling.
- Establish robust local data persistence and synchronization layers using SQLite, Room, or CoreData.
- Collaborate with backend teams to design and integrate highly efficient REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and UI automation tests to maintain high software quality and prevent regressions.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and help maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated App Store and Google Play deployments.
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience specializing in native mobile development (iOS or Android).
- Deep proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK, or Kotlin and the Android SDK.
- Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
- Experience managing multi-threaded operations, memory leaks, and profiling applications using Instruments or Android Studio Profiler.
- Solid understanding of mobile security best practices, including keychain storage, certificate pinning, and secure data transmission.
- Bonus: Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter), functional reactive programming (Combine, RxJava, Coroutines), or building custom UI design systems.
