The Role

We’re looking for a Mortgage Sales Training Specialist to support the onboarding and development of our Junior Account Executives and Account Executives in our Atlanta office. This onsite role is responsible for facilitating engaging, hands-on training focused on mortgage systems, processes, products, and industry knowledge to ensure employees are set up for success from day one.

Working closely with the Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for delivering training content, leading system-based sessions and exercises, and providing coaching and support throughout the learning process. The ideal candidate brings strong mortgage industry experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others learn and grow

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate onboarding and training programs for Junior Account Executives and Account Executives in an onsite and virtual classroom environment
  • Deliver engaging training sessions focused on mortgage systems, loan products, processes, workflows, compliance, and industry best practices
  • Lead hands-on system training, walkthroughs, roleplays, exercises, and knowledge checks to reinforce learning and build confidence
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and ongoing support to trainees throughout the onboarding and ramp-up process
  • Partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure training aligns with operational expectations and business needs
  • Monitor trainee progress, participation, and performance, while providing feedback and recommendations to leadership
  • Maintain training schedules, attendance records, and supporting documentation as needed
  • Assist with new hire onboarding logistics, including training preparation, system access coordination, and classroom readiness
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying knowledge gaps, process challenges, and opportunities to enhance the training experience
  • Stay current on mortgage industry updates, systems, products, and process changes to ensure training accuracy and effectiveness

What You Bring

  • 3\+ years of experience facilitating training, onboarding, coaching, or employee development programs preferred
  • 2\+ years Mortgage industry experience is required, with strong knowledge of mortgage processes, terminology, systems, and operations. Previous sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, communication, or related field
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with learners at all levels
  • Comfortable leading both group training sessions and individual coaching conversations
  • Ability to explain complex processes and systems in a clear, practical, and easy-to-understand way
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working within mortgage-related systems and platforms
  • Passion for employee development, learning, and helping others succeed
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in our Atlanta office
