Position Overview:
The National Title Production Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and aligning the organization’s production operations across both residential and commercial business lines. This individual will lead the leaders of multiple production units nationwide, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with company standards, underwriter requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The role requires strong operational leadership, vendor management expertise, and the ability to drive continuous improvement through KPI development, best practices, and cross-functional collaboration.
Location:
This position will be based in one of our Midwest offices. Preferred locations include Carmel, IN, Chicago, IL or other nearby offices. A full list of locations can be seen on our website at nntg.com.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leadership \& Production Oversight
+ Lead, mentor, and manage leaders of residential and commercial production units across all regions.
+ Foster alignment, collaboration, and communication between production centers to ensure cohesive national operations.
+ Establish and enforce standardized processes, workflows, and quality benchmarks to improve efficiency and reduce variability among production units.
+ Partner with senior executives to develop long-term strategies for production growth and operational excellence.
- Vendor \& Contract Management
+ Negotiate, structure, and manage search/exam vendor contracts at a national level, ensuring cost-effectiveness, service quality, and compliance.
+ Evaluate and onboard new vendors as needed, maintaining strong relationships and monitoring performance against agreed standards.
+ Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to ensure favorable terms and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Performance \& Compliance
+ Partner with production leaders to create, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for efficiency, turnaround times, quality, and customer satisfaction.
+ Work closely with the audit team to ensure production practices align with internal controls, underwriter requirements, and industry’s best practices.
+ Collaborate with underwriting partners to stay current on compliance expectations and adjust production practices accordingly.
+ Ensure all production units adhere to local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies.
- Process Improvement \& Best Practices
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance productivity, accuracy, and consistency across all production centers.
+ Champion technology adoption and innovation to streamline search/exam operations.
+ Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive scalability, cost savings, and customer service excellence.
- Collaboration \& Stakeholder Management
+ Act as the central liaison between production units, corporate leadership, underwriters, compliance teams, and vendors.
+ Provide regular reporting, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership on production performance, risks, and opportunities.
+ Partner with HR to ensure workforce planning, training, and development initiatives meet the evolving needs of the production units.
Qualifications:
- 10\+ years of progressive leadership experience in title, search/exam, or related real estate/financial services industry.
- Proven track record of managing multi-location production operations with both residential and commercial portfolios.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Deep understanding of compliance requirements and underwriting best practices in title/search/exam.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management abilities.
- Data-driven decision-maker with experience creating and managing KPIs.
- Strong vendor management and relationship-building skills.

Pay Range: $100,000-150,000 with annual bonus potential.
