Nurse Practitioner – Nephrology

Location:

Goshen, NY, New Windsor, NY

Schedule:

Full-Time

Role Highlights

• Provide outpatient nephrology care (CKD, HTN, electrolyte disorders)
• Perform inpatient nephrology consults and hospital rounding
• Conduct daily dialysis rounding for acute \& chronic patients
• Order and interpret labs and imaging
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dialysis staff, and care teams
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on kidney disease management
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
• National certification (ANCC or AANP)
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
• Valid DEA license
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology experience required
• Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and dialysis care
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Preferred

• Hospital rounding and dialysis management experience
• EMR familiarity
• BLS \& ACLS certification
