Role Overview

The Operations \& Logistics Coordinator supports the execution of Kanzen Meal’s supply chain operations in a multi co-manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this role is responsible for coordinating production, inventory, fulfillment, and logistics activities while helping build repeatable processes suitable for a scaling CPG business. This role works closely with internal teams—including R\&D, Finance, and Sales—as well as external partners. The Operations \& Logistics Coordinator will support new product launches and operational improvements and contribute to the company’s transition into a new ERP system.

Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment

·      Manage end-to-end outbound order fulfillment to customers

·      Own and resolve exceptions and issues throughout the process

·      Manage operational relationship with 3PLs

·      Manage finished goods inventory lots/shelf life

·      Prepare and organize all necessary documents

·      Detail and record all data points into ERP

Freight \& Logistics

·      Oversee all freight shipments

·      Manage operational relationships with brokers/carriers

·      Manage and drive to lower freight costs

·      Search, assess, and onboard new 3PLS, brokers/carriers

Purchasing Support

·      Manage select purchasing order coordination with suppliers, carriers, and 3PLs

·      Assist with PO creation and internal approvals

·      Manage raw material and packaging inventory as needed

·      Review and organize COAs and any food safety and QC documentation

R\&D Support

·      Assist in communications and liaison with R\&D

·      Assist in projects/tasks as requested by R\&D

Projects

·      Assist or take on new projects or responsibilities as assigned

·      Assist in project, timeline, and data management in Asana

·      Wear multiple hats, learn new skills, and take on new responsibilities, as assigned

Qualifications \& Experience

Required:

·      2–4 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics

·      Excellent proficiency in Excel required

·      Strong attention to detail and detail-oriented thinking required

·      Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

·      CPG, food, or beverage experience

·      Exposure to ERP systems or implementations

·      Experience supporting new product launches

Salary:

·      $60,000 ～ $75,000 / year
