Job Description
Who We Are
Birdies is one of the fastest-growing pre-roll brands in cannabis. We make a proprietary straight roll with modern branding and a loyal following. We’ve partnered with WYLD - the #1 cannabis edible brand in the country - for licensing, sales, and distribution. We currently operate in California and Arizona, and just launched New York, with plans to expand nationally. We're a small, collaborative team in high-growth mode, and we're looking for driven self-starters who are excited by the opportunity to grow with us.
Role Overview
Birdies is growing fast: adding new retail accounts, rolling out new SKUs, and expanding into new states. As the business scales, so does the complexity of production operations. We’re hiring an Operations Manager to own day-to-day production coordination across our active markets. This is a hands-on role focused on project managing production end-to-end: sourcing and evaluating materials, building product formulations, coordinating manufacturing runs, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll also be expected to proactively improve production processes, drive operational efficiencies, and help build scalable systems as we expand into new states. You’ll be working directly with vendors and manufacturing partners daily, so strong communication skills and a sense of urgency are essential.

Production Reporting \& Process Improvement
- Review and track production output, yield, and scrap against targets
- Maintain visibility into packaging materials inventory and SKU-level forecasts
- Provide regular production status updates to leadership
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve operations as we scale
Who You Are
You’re organized, operationally sharp, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams across partners and markets without dropping balls. You’ve managed production schedules and vendor relationships before, ideally in cannabis or CPG. You move fast, communicate clearly, and care about details because you understand that a missed reorder or a failed compliance test has real downstream consequences. You thrive in lean, fast-moving environments where you’re building systems, not just maintaining them.
