Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Operations Manager to lead and optimize our engineering and consultancy operations in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a deep understanding of the Saudi market and regulatory landscape. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient delivery of complex projects, fostering a culture of quality, and driving operational excellence across the organization.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, managing resources effectively, overseeing quality assurance, and ensuring financial performance. You will play a crucial role in client relations, team leadership, and navigating the intricacies of the Saudi business environment. If you are a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects and a passion for operational excellence

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural).

Consultant Engineer registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).

Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the engineering and consultancy sector.

At least 5 years in a senior operational or managerial role (e.g., Department Head, Regional Manager, or Operations Manager) within a consulting firm.

Proven track record of managing the delivery of large-scale infrastructure, building, or industrial projects from a consultancy perspective.

Fluency in Arabic (writing, reading, and speaking).

Experience in manpower planning, utilization rates, and allocation of engineering staff across multiple projects.

Deep understanding of ISO standards and Quality Management Systems specific to engineering consultancies.

Extensive knowledge of FIDIC Contracts and local Saudi procurement laws.

Experience managing departmental P\&L, budgeting, and cost control.

Proficiency in ERP systems, Project Management Software (Primavera P6/MS Project), and BIM workflows.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.

Ability to lead multicultural teams and act as a bridge between technical staff and C-suite executives.

Strong decision-making skills under pressure, particularly regarding project delays or technical disputes.

Deep understanding of the Saudi market, including familiarity with government tenders (Etimad) and municipal approval processes.
