Job Description

Job Objective:

To lead and manage the transport project operations with high efficiency, ensuring daily operational readiness, full compliance with contractual standards, and delivering an exceptional user experience in coordination with all relevant stakeholders.

Tasks \& Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:

Manage daily operations for the fleet, routes, and designated stops to ensure service continuity.

  • Team Leadership:

Supervise drivers, field operation teams, and customer service staff.

  • Safety \& Quality:

Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality protocols, and approved regulations.

  • Stakeholder Coordination:

Maintain continuous coordination with the client/owner and relevant government entities.

  • Operational Discipline:

Monitor operational schedules, trip times, and overall fleet discipline.

  • Contract Management:

Manage operational contracts with suppliers and contractors.

  • Revenue Systems:

Oversee ticketing systems and monitor operational revenues.

  • Reporting:

Prepare and submit periodic operational reports (Daily / Weekly / Monthly).

  • Risk Management:

Manage operational risks and resolve on-site field challenges.

  • Launch Leadership:

Lead the pilot phase and the official launch of the project.

  • Continuous Improvement:

Propose initiatives for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Transport Management, or an equivalent field (

Bachelor's degree is mandatory

).

  • Experience:

A minimum of

5 years

of experience in managing transport projects, infrastructure, or large-scale field services.

  • Industry Background:

Previous experience in Public Transport, Government Projects, or Hajj and Umrah projects is a strong plus.

Required Skills:

  • High capability in operational planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership skills for managing field teams.
  • In-depth understanding of government regulations and contracts.
  • Proficiency in report writing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strong communication skills with official and government authorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic field environment.
  • Fluent in Arabic; English proficiency is a plus.
