Operations Manager

This company has been around for many years and supplies very stable industries with the chemicals they need - this plant is about 10 people and is in need of a leader.

The person for this role needs to be a strong leader and someone who likes to be out on the floor, working directly with operations and other hourly personnel to push for high safety standards and high performance. This person will have overall responsibility for this site and this role reports to a regional manager. Travel will be minimal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Leadership background is important - should have previous management experience
• Must be out of chemicals, ideally chemical distribution or something along those lines
• Previous PSM (process safety management) experience is a huge plus
• Must understand DOT/TCEQ regulations
