Job Overview- Senior Database Administrator

to support complex database systems, focusing on performance optimization, cloud migration, and integration with modern applications in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Database Administration

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases
• Ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity
• Monitor database performance and optimize efficiency

Data Migration \& Cloud

• Lead migration of on-prem databases to Oracle DB@ Azure Cloud
• Manage data separation (BLOB to Azure storage)
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)

Performance \& Optimization

• Identify performance bottlenecks
• Implement monitoring tools and performance tuning
• Manage storage capacity and database health

Job \& Workflow Management

• Transition cron jobs to Oracle DB jobs
• Improve automation and workflow efficiency

Disaster Recovery \& Security

• Manage backup, restore, and recovery strategies
• Ensure database security and compliance
• Support disaster recovery planning

Data Modeling \& Design

• Perform logical and physical data modeling
• Design relational database structures
• Maintain data dictionary and standards

Collaboration \& Support

• Work with developers, analysts, and stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and support
• Assist in database architecture and design
