Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities in pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
  • Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions via telehealth platforms to improve communication skills.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to support patient progress.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding speech and language disorders.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in teletherapy and speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) and valid Colorado state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in telehealth settings.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital assessment tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage children and families effectively in a virtual environment.
  • Commitment to providing family-centered, culturally responsive care.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
