Job Description
My client is hiring a Platform Engineer to build and scale the infrastructure powering a leading quantitative trading business. You’ll work closely with researchers, developers, and portfolio managers to develop distributed systems and support fully automated trading.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance quantitative platform infrastructure
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems
- Manage distributed systems, compute, and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with quant teams to support research and trading workflows
- Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
Requirements
- Strong programming skills (Python, Java, or similar)
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with databases (SQL \& NoSQL)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
- Knowledge of CI/CD, testing frameworks, and automation
- Exposure to quantitative finance or trading systems
