Platform Engineer

2\. About the Opportunity:

The Platform Engineer role is designed to address the most critical technical challenges impacting the platform each week, working across the entire technology stack. This position contributes to the organization''s success by delivering high-impact solutions that improve system performance, resolve complex bugs, and enhance internal tooling. The role is essential for maintaining platform reliability and enabling the engineering team to work more effectively.

3\. Responsibilities:

• Identify and solve the highest-priority technical issues across the platform

• Develop solutions spanning backend, infrastructure, developer tools, and occasionally frontend

• Create tools and fixes to unblock and accelerate other engineers'' work

• Manage complex, cross-team problems that do not fall within a single specialty

• Improve platform reliability and developer experience consistently

4\. Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in full-stack or platform engineering

• Strong generalist skills with proven ability to deliver across multiple system areas

• Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and maintain focus through ambiguity

• Proactive and results-driven approach with a track record of completing tasks

• Authorized to work in the US or eligible remote regions without visa sponsorship

5\. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range: $195,000 to $260,000 per year for US-based employees in San Francisco, CA, adjusted fairly for other locations

• Equity: Up to 0\.05%
