Portfolio Manager - Investments

An investment portfolio manager develops and implements investment strategies to meet client financial goals by selecting, buying, and selling assets (stocks, bonds, etc.). They analyze market trends, conduct research, manage risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. They also communicate directly with clients regarding performance and strategy.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Strategy Development:

Create investment strategies tailored to client goals and risk tolerance.

• Asset Management:

Buy and sell securities to optimize portfolio performance.

• Research \& Analysis:

Monitor financial markets, economic data, and company news to identify opportunities.

• Client Relations:

Meet with clients, provide updates, and explain investment strategies.

• Compliance \& Risk:

Ensure compliance with legal regulations and manage portfolio risk to avoid losses.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.

• Certifications:

CFA designation preferred.

• Experience:

Previous experience as a financial analyst or in investment management is typical.

• Skills:

Strong quantitative skills, research capabilities, decision-making abilities, and communication skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
