Key Responsibilities

As a Navy Preventive Medicine Physician, you’ll provide Force Health Protection by identifying and mitigating occupational, environmental, and operational health threats for Sailors, Marines, and their families. You’ll play a vital role in sustaining the health and readiness of our force —

both at home and abroad

Requirements

  1. MD or DO from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified)
  2. Completion of an ACGME accredited Preventive Medicine residency (or in final year of residency)
  3. Board certified in Preventive Medicine (or in final year of residency)
  4. U.S. Citizenship
  5. Between the ages of 21 and 57
