Key Responsibilities
As a Navy Preventive Medicine Physician, you’ll provide Force Health Protection by identifying and mitigating occupational, environmental, and operational health threats for Sailors, Marines, and their families. You’ll play a vital role in sustaining the health and readiness of our force —
both at home and abroad

Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified)
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Preventive Medicine residency (or in final year of residency)
- Board certified in Preventive Medicine (or in final year of residency)
- U.S. Citizenship
- Between the ages of 21 and 57
(Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
