Role Overview:

At TRS, we believe Mathematics in the early years should build confidence, clarity and comfort with numbers. We are looking for a teacher who can make Maths meaningful, visual and engaging, helping children understand concepts rather than memorise procedures.

What This Role Involves

• Teaching

Mathematics

across Std I–IV with a strong focus on

conceptual understanding

• Building strong

number sense, logical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Making Mats

interactive and relatable

through activities, examples and real-life connections

• Supporting students in developing

accuracy, along with understanding

• Creating a classroom environment where children feel

confident to attempt, make mistakes and learn

What We Are Looking For

• Strong

fundamental understanding of Mathematics

• Ability to explain concepts in a

simple and engaging manner

• Good communication skills (spoken English is important)
• Patience and the ability to work with children at

different learning levels

• A structured and organised approach to teaching
• A sense of

ownership and responsibility in the classroom
