Role Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Multi-Cloud Architect to lead the design, delivery, and governance of enterprise-scale and hyperscale cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, and/or OCS.

This role demands strong expertise in multi-cloud strategy, cloud migration, enterprise architecture, Kubernetes, FinOps, DevOps automation, and AI/Generative AI.

The successful candidate will define standards, best practices, and operating models, working closely with delivery, operations, and business teams to enable secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient multi-cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise \& Hyperscale Architecture

• Design and implement enterprise-scale and hyperscale cloud architectures supporting global, mission-critical workloads.
• Architect solutions for high availability, resilience, performance optimization, and multi-region disaster recovery.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, refactoring, and cloud-native transformation.
• Design solutions using Kubernetes, container orchestration, microservices, and serverless technologies.
• Embed AI/ML and Generative AI to improve automation, analytics, operational insights, and user experience.
• Define reference architectures, design patterns, reusable frameworks, and blueprints for enterprise and hyperscale use cases.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), governance models, and best practices for cloud delivery and operations.
• Ensure compliance with security, risk, regulatory, and performance standards across multi-cloud environments.

DevOps, Automation \& FinOps

• Champion automation-first delivery using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, observability platforms, and self-healing automation for hyperscale workloads.
• Enable DevSecOps practices that balance speed, security, and compliance.
• Lead FinOps initiatives to govern, optimize, and forecast cloud spend at scale.
• Develop monitoring and reporting frameworks to track cost efficiency, performance, and return on investment.

Pre-Sales \& Client Engagement

• Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and presentations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to align cloud solutions with strategic business objectives.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the solution lifecycle.

Collaboration \& Technical Leadership

• Partner with delivery and operations teams to ensure successful implementation and scalability.
• Drive adoption of enterprise and hyperscale cloud standards and best practices.
• Mentor and guide technical teams on multi-cloud architecture, governance, and operational excellence.

Required Skills \& Experience

• Proven experience in multi-cloud architecture across Azure, AWS, GCP, and/or OCS.
• Strong expertise in enterprise-scale and hyperscale cloud architectures, including global availability and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container platforms, and microservices at scale.
• Demonstrated expertise in FinOps, cloud cost governance, and optimization.
• Proficiency in DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience integrating AI/ML and Generative AI into enterprise cloud solutions.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, governance, and compliance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and pre-sales capabilities.
• Proven ability to define and enforce standards, SOPs, and best practices in large-scale environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8\+ years of IT experience, including 4\+ years in cloud architecture delivering enterprise or hyperscale solutions.
