Private Equity Analyst – Power / Energy Infrastructure

Overview
A growing private equity fund focused on power and energy infrastructure investments is seeking an
Analyst (1–3 years’ experience)
to join its investment team. The role will support transaction execution and portfolio management across power generation assets, including thermal and conventional energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support evaluation and execution of investments in power generation assets
- Build and maintain detailed financial models (LBO, DCF, project finance)
- Conduct industry and market research across the power and utilities sector
- Assist with due diligence, including coordination with advisors and stakeholders
- Prepare investment memos and presentation materials for internal committees
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support asset management initiatives
Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
- Exposure to power, energy, or infrastructure sectors preferred
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- High attention to detail and analytical rigor
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field
Requirements
- Experience in
power, thermal power, or power generation
strongly preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
