Private Equity Analyst/Associate

Overview:

Lean, control-oriented private equity fund focused on lower middle market investments across industrials and services (e.g., niche manufacturing, distribution, business services, industrial services). The team is actively deploying capital and looking to add an Analyst / Associate to support full-cycle investing and work closely with portfolio company management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the full transaction process including sourcing, evaluation, diligence, and closing across industrials and services opportunities
• Build and maintain LBO models, operating cases, and valuation analyses for new investments and portfolio companies
• Analyze company performance, end markets, and competitive positioning; manage third-party diligence providers
• Partner with management teams on operational initiatives, KPI tracking, and strategic projects (pricing, add-ons, cost optimization)
• Prepare investment committee memos, presentations, and supporting analysis

Profile:

• 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking (ideally industrials, business services, or M\&A) or relevant buy-side experience
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Interest in operationally-oriented investing and industrials/services sectors
• Comfortable in a lean team with high accountability and visibility
• Strong academic background
