Are you an experienced procurement professional looking for an opportunity to make a real operational impact within a growing technology business? We’re supporting an innovative organisation seeking a Procurement \& Operations Manager to help strengthen supplier relationships, improve operational efficiency, and support ongoing business growth.

About the Role

This is a varied role offering a blend of strategic procurement responsibility and day-to-day operational involvement within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing procurement and supply chain activities across multiple suppliers
  • Developing strong supplier relationships and commercial agreements
  • Supporting sourcing activities for technical products and manufactured components
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to support product and operational requirements
  • Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement
  • Supporting inventory management and supply planning activities
  • Improving procurement systems, reporting, and operational workflows
  • Helping strengthen supply chain resilience and supplier performance
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the wider business

Qualifications

You’ll likely have experience within procurement, supply chain, operations, or purchasing roles in a technical, manufacturing, engineering, or product-based environment.

Required Skills

  • Supplier negotiation and relationship management
  • Procurement within manufacturing or technical environments
  • ERP/MRP systems experience
  • Inventory and supplier management
  • Cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working within fast-paced operational or production settings

Preferred Skills

You’ll be a proactive and commercially minded individual who enjoys problem-solving, building relationships, and working collaboratively across teams. Professional procurement qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
