Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Supply Chain Manager

to support our

Structures Group

manufacturing aircraft structural components for the Aerospace \& Defense industry. This hands-on leadership role will oversee procurement operations, lead a team of 5–6 buyers, and ensure the timely availability of raw materials to support production. The position is also a key member of the site's senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5–6 buyers.
• Manage procurement of raw materials, including

aluminum, titanium, and composite materials

.

• Partner closely with manufacturing to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
• Develop supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6–8\+ years of Supply Chain/Procurement leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience leading a procurement team.
• Mandatory Aerospace \& Defense manufacturing experience.
• Strong background in

metal fabrication and aerostructures manufacturing

.

• Experience supporting on-site manufacturing operations.
• Experience supplying aircraft structural components for OEMs such as

Boeing

and

Airbus

is highly preferred.
