We are seeking an experienced and hands-on

Procurement Manager

to lead our procurement function during a period of rapid growth. This leadership role combines strategic oversight with significant tactical involvement in day-to-day buying and supplier management. You will manage and develop a team of buyers and coordinators while personally handling key sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and high-value purchases to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant supply of raw materials, packaging, and services.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, has deep experience in sourcing ingredients and materials for regulated industries (e.g., dietary supplements, food, pharmaceuticals), and is passionate about building high-performing teams while staying close to the operational details.

Responsibilities:

• Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop buyers/coordinators; set goals, track KPIs (cost savings, on-time delivery, supplier performance), standardize processes.
• Strategic Sourcing \& Buying
• Negotiate contracts/pricing/terms for critical materials; qualify/onboard suppliers; monitor market trends, risks, and regulatory changes (FDA/GMP compliance).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with R\&D, QA, Manufacturing, and Finance to ensure material availability for production and new launches; drive cost reductions and inventory optimization.
• Compliance \& Excellence
• Maintain supplier relationships and procurement aligned with GMP, USDA Organic, NSF standards; support growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (CPSM/CPM preferred).
• 5\+ years procurement experience; 2\+ years leading a team.
• Strong background in regulated manufacturing sourcing raw ingredients.
• Proven negotiation, cost-savings, and supplier management track record.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, with ability to balance strategy and hands-on work.
