This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on procurement professional who will build and lead a comprehensive procurement function. The Procurement Manager will design and implement end-to-end sourcing and purchasing processes, establish vendor management programs, and negotiate contracts to optimize cost efficiency and compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast purchasing needs, leverage AI-driven analytics for actionable insights, and streamline procurement operations. This position requires balancing strategic planning with daily execution, providing guidance on procurement best practices while managing supplier relationships. It offers an opportunity to influence companywide procurement strategy in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement end-to-end procurement processes, including approval workflows, sourcing controls, and purchasing procedures.
  • Draft and maintain procurement policies, SOPs, and standardized documentation.
  • Build and manage a centralized supplier database, including onboarding, risk assessment, and performance evaluation programs.
  • Lead RFP/RFQ processes, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and compliant agreements.
  • Apply AI-powered analytics to analyze spend, detect patterns, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal, and other stakeholders to forecast purchasing needs and define requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of procurement or supply chain experience, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience creating procurement processes, sourcing frameworks, and vendor management programs.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement best practices, cost-analysis techniques, and compliance standards.
  • Preferred experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, NetSuite) and working in the software or technology industry.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
