Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our clients team in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in establishing and enhancing a global procurement framework that aligns with corporate goals and drives operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to make a lasting impact by optimizing procurement strategies and fostering supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities across multiple categories, including maintenance, equipment, supplies, fleet, terminals, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Negotiate and oversee large-scale, complex supply contracts to ensure value and compliance.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that optimize operational efficiency and supplier relationships.
  • Drive procurement synergies through standardization, vendor consolidation, and leveraging untapped scale opportunities.
  • Provide strategic and tactical guidance on procurement processes based on market trends and best practices.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and address regional and national procurement opportunities.
  • Establish benchmarks and performance objectives to measure procurement success.
  • Foster strong communication channels with senior management to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Scale successful regional procurement programs to multinational and global levels.
  • Proven experience in corporate procurement with a focus on large-scale contract negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing processes and procurement functions.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Ability to identify and implement opportunities for operational and cost efficiencies.
  • Expertise in managing supplier relationships and leveraging partnerships.
  • Knowledge of market trends and practices in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Experience in developing benchmarks and performance metrics for procurement activities.
  • Capacity to lead strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
