Job Description

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing activities across the organization. This role is responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective and efficient acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and a track record of optimizing procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms
  • Manage vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance
  • Oversee purchasing processes, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of goods and services
  • Analyze spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements
  • Mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
  • Mentor and manage procurement team members as applicable

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 6-8\+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills
  • Experience with procurement systems and ERP platforms
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
