Procurement Manager

The Opportunity

Lignum Group is supporting the appointment of a Procurement Manager to join a growing, manufacturing-led environment delivering solutions into the data centre sector.

This role focuses on sourcing and managing critical materials and systems across large-scale data centre projects, including metals, mechanical and electrical components. You will play a key role in supporting procurement strategy, supplier performance and cost optimisation across complex supply chains.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing procurement across key material categories, including steel, aluminium, HVAC and electrical components
• Leading supplier sourcing, selection, and performance across domestic and international markets
• Negotiating contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to drive cost efficiency and mitigate risk
• Supporting procurement strategy aligned with manufacturing and project delivery requirements
• Collaborating with engineering, operations and production teams
• Overseeing supply chain processes for modular systems, containment solutions and technical assemblies
• Monitoring market trends, pricing and supplier capabilities
• Driving continuous improvement across procurement processes and supplier networks

Who This Role Suits

• Procurement or Supply Chain professionals from manufacturing, construction materials, or industrial environments
• Experience sourcing metals (steel, aluminium) and engineered components
• Strong background in supplier management, contract negotiation and cost control
• Experience within complex, multi-category procurement (not purely indirect spend)
• Exposure to data centre, HVAC, electrical, or engineered systems is advantageous
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, project-driven environments
