Job Description
Our client is a fast growing Multinational FMCG Companuy. They are looking for a strategic Purchasing Senoir Manager/Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for its FMCG business. Reporting to the Global Head Quarter, you’ll build procurement strategies to meet business goals, cut costs, ensure supply stability, and maintain quality/compliance. You must understand FMCG procurement (raw materials, packaging, services) and work well in a fast, changing market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize costs, improve supply efficiency, and reduce risks.
- Lead the procurement team (managers, buyers) to select suppliers, negotiate deals, and manage contracts.
- Maintain supplier relationships: evaluate performance, solve issues, and drive quality improvements.
- Control procurement costs without compromising quality; follow internal policies, industry rules, and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with R\&D, Operations, Finance teams to support demand plans and new product launches.
- Report procurement performance (cost savings, risks) to senior leadership.
Requirements \& Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10\+ years of FMCG procurement experience, with 5\+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of cutting costs and improving supply chain resilience in FMCG.
- Strong skills in negotiation, supplier management, and contract handling.
- Understanding of FMCG supply chain dynamics, regulatory compliance, and sustainability.
- Proficiency in basic procurement tools and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and communicate well in English.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
