Job Title: General Procurement Expert II

Location: Verona, WI 53593 (Onsite)

Duration : 3 Months

Job Summary

We are seeking a General Procurement Expert II to support procurement operations by sourcing, purchasing, and managing goods and services from suppliers while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, supplier management, contract administration, and purchasing processes. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor relationship management skills to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Specialist position is a senior-level technical position within the supply chain function and fulfillment

job family. This position is responsible for the first point of entry into the procurement organization and expected to

quickly understand the operations and impact procurement has on other up and downstream departments. This role

ensures that materials are obtained in a timely manner and from suppliers that meet or exceed or quality requirements.

Transactional and strategic work includes but is not limited to obtaining/maintaining prices and delivery information

from the suppliers. Ensuring purchase orders and material master data is updated and accurate. Working with suppliers

and other internal teams to ensure timely delivery and release of materials to meet production schedules. Host and

attend internal and external meetings to ensure alignment with delivery timelines, identify risks and alternative supply

options.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Mathematics, or Supply Chain Management

OR

High School diploma/GED \& 4\+ years equivalent experience in scheduling, planning or purchasing.

Preferred Requirements:

Certification ASCM CPIM, CSCP or equivalent

Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies

Strong analytical abilities with problem solving techniques, unconditional commitment to teamwork and

communication.

Ability to follow ISO and cGMP standards and utilize quality management systems.

Ability to drive initiatives with cross functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to communicate at different levels of the business

High sense of urgency and results-oriented

Extremely organized and detail oriented

Apparent Negotiation skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, IF)
