Product Analyst

Position Summary:

As a Product Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, defining product requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver valuable solutions to our customers. You will play a key role in understanding user needs and translating them into actionable product specifications. You will work closely with other Product Analysts, Product Managers, software engineering teams and with cross-functional stakeholders to contribute to the success of our innovative products and solutions. This position is an in-office, in-person, or hybrid role if local to South Bend, or remote if not local to South Bend.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather and document detailed user requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Create and maintain product documentation, including training material, project implementation, and process flows.
• Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and ensure successful implementation.
• Participate in user research and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of new product and feature customer implementations.
• Provides Tier III support for troubleshooting and mitigation efforts with internal teams.
• Participate in respective agile ceremonies for initiatives and products.
• Maintain the prioritization of product backlog based on data and business value for responsible initiatives and products.
• Stay informed about the healthcare IT landscape and competitive products.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience with data analysis tools and techniques, SQL, spreadsheet software (Excel), presentation software (PowerPoint), mockup/wireframing tools (Balsamiq).
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with product management tools (Atlassian - Jira and Confluence).

• Proficient in Microsoft tools.
• Speaking and writing English is a requirement for this position.

Education \& Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• Optional: Relevant certifications in business analysis or product management (e.g., Mountain Goat - Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Institute, Certified Business Analysis Professional - CBAP).
• 2-5 years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
• Experience in the healthcare IT industry is preferred.
