About CoachMate

CoachMate builds digital products that help sports organisations attract, engage and retain participants. Our mission is simple: get more kids into sport and keep them there longer. One of our most exciting initiatives is a new kids-focused platform designed to deepen young people’s connection to sport through gamification, challenges, rewards and personalised digital experiences. This role will play a key part in shaping that experience from the ground up.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Product Designer who enjoys creating great digital experiences and bringing ideas to life. You’ll work across multiple areas of the CoachMate platform, helping turn customer needs and product opportunities into intuitive, engaging experiences. Strong product thinking is important. We’re looking for someone who enjoys moving quickly from ideas to wireframes, prototypes and polished experiences that ship.

What You’ll Do

• Design end-to-end experiences across web and mobile products
• Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and production-ready designs
• Contribute to the evolution of our design system and component library
• Gather feedback early and iterate quickly
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and customers to shape solutions
• Help ensure experiences are engaging, intuitive and practical to build

About You

You’re an experienced Product Designer with a strong portfolio of shipped work and a genuine passion for design craft. You communicate clearly, share work early and actively seek feedback. Most importantly, you’re curious and enjoy exploring new products, design patterns and technologies.

You’ll likely bring many of the following:

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Product Designer within a software product team
• A track record of shipping engaging digital products
• Comfortable moving quickly from concepts to prototypes and shipped experiences
• Experience with gamification, rewards, progression systems or similar mechanics
• Experience designing for children, young people, learning or education environments is highly desirable
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable gathering feedback, iterating quickly and refining solutions collaboratively
• Curious about product design, AI and emerging trends
