Product Designer

About the Role:

Product Designer II will be responsible for using design thinking to solve complex problems \& ship high-fidelity designs for new features \& prototype solutions. You will be working collaboratively with cross-functional partners like product management, engineering and business in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

• Advocating for good user experience across our platform by representing our users in design brainstorming discussions.
• Identifying the appropriate UX methods and tools to use depending on project constraints.
• Prototyping solutions to solve complex problems.
• Contributing to our growing design system of patterns in an effort to cultivate a cohesive look, feel, and user experience across the entire Flipkart platform.
• Sharing and reviewing your designs based on peer feedback, research, and testing.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelors or Masters in Design, HCI, Psychology or any other related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product design or UX roles.
• Empathy and advocacy for users, in all areas of work.
• A deep understanding of the design process, experience using UX prototyping tools, as well as relevant fundamental knowledge of front-end technologies to understand the constraints of the design.
• Extraordinary UI design abilities that can be demonstrated through current projects.
• Thinking in terms of design systems and reusable components.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
