Product Designer (Junior - Mid)

The opportunity

We're looking for a Junior to Mid-level UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis, supporting our Senior UX Designer while a team member is on extended leave.

• Contract term:

5 weeks, with an option to extend a further 5 weeks

• Days:

4 days per week

• Working arrangement:

Hybrid, 3 days in our Sydney CBD office (conveniently located near Central Station), 1 day working from home

• Start date:

Mid-June 2025

What you'll be doing

• Wireframing and developing design concepts across our product suite
• Implementing and documenting design changes and collaborating with development teams
• Supporting the creation of presentation materials (yes, PowerPoint is a skill we respect)
• Contributing ideas while working effectively within an established design direction

What we're looking for

• Strong understanding of UX design principles and methodologies
• Expert-level Figma skills and comfortable working with design systems, this is non-negotiable
• Clear, confident communication and the ability to both take direction and work autonomously
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence and PowerPoint
• Bonus points for experience in fintech, lending or financial services software
