Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Product Designer/Manager role responsible for shaping end-to-end product experiences on the Eddi platform. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to define product requirements, prioritize features, and translate complex funding workflows into intuitive user journeys. On a day-to-day basis, you will conduct user research with education and nonprofit stakeholders, synthesize insights, and create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. You will apply design thinking to define problems, explore solutions, and iterate based on feedback and data. You will also support roadmap planning, collaborate with engineering on implementation details, and help ensure that releases are usable, accessible, and aligned with business and user goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Product Design and Visual Design skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling interfaces for complex workflows.
- Experience collecting, distilling and prioritizing user/business insights
- Proficiency in User Research and UX Research methods, including interviews, usability testing, and insight synthesis.
- Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define requirements, prioritize work, and manage trade-offs.
- Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with strong communication, documentation, and collaboration practices.
- Familiarity with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or similar) and basic understanding of design systems.
- Experience designing B2B or SaaS products; experience in education, nonprofit, or public sector funding is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
