Product Manager / Chief of Staff (Technology \& Engineering)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Product Manager / Chief of Staff to support Product and Engineering leadership through a combination of operational management, executive communications, program coordination, and product oversight. This role serves as a trusted partner to technology leadership, ensuring alignment across product, engineering, and business stakeholders while helping drive execution of key initiatives and organizational priorities.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with exceptional communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. This individual will help drive execution, facilitate leadership priorities, manage organizational communications, and ensure visibility into key initiatives, risks, and accomplishments.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Communications \& Organizational Reporting

  • Own and manage weekly Product \& Engineering communications, including newsletters, leadership updates, and organizational announcements.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and briefing materials for technology leadership.
  • Consolidate updates across Product, Engineering, and Technology teams to provide leadership with clear visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies, and achievements.
  • Translate technical updates into business-focused communications for executive audiences.
  • Support messaging related to product launches, engineering milestones, strategic initiatives, and operational changes.

Strategic Planning \& Operational Excellence

  • Partner with technology leadership to drive execution of strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, staff meetings, planning sessions, workshops, and vendor engagements.
  • Manage meeting agendas, action items, follow-ups, and accountability tracking.
  • Ensure key deliverables, milestones, and commitments remain visible and on track.
  • Support quarterly planning, operational reviews, and organizational alignment activities.

Stakeholder Management \& Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Serve as a liaison between Product, Engineering, Technology, and business teams.
  • Drive communication and alignment across multiple stakeholders and leadership groups.
  • Monitor organizational priorities and escalate risks, blockers, and dependencies as needed.
  • Foster accountability and transparency across teams.
  • Build strong relationships across product, engineering, and business functions.

Product Planning \& Execution

  • Partner with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and business stakeholders to support product initiatives and roadmap execution.
  • Assist with product planning, release coordination, prioritization discussions, and delivery tracking.
  • Support feature launches, release communications, and stakeholder updates.
  • Help define success metrics and monitor product performance against business objectives.

Product Operations \& Delivery Support

  • Coordinate cross-functional activities related to product development and releases.
  • Track project status, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, planning sessions, and stakeholder reviews as needed.
  • Ensure product documentation, reporting, and communication artifacts remain current and accurate.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across product and engineering processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, Product Operations, Chief of Staff, Strategy \& Operations, or related technology leadership support roles.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Product, and Technology leadership teams.
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, release management, Agile methodologies, and cross-functional team workflows.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • Proven ability to create executive-level presentations, reports, dashboards, and organizational communications.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional programs, strategic initiatives, workshops, and leadership meetings.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting VP-level, CTO, CIO, or senior technology executives.
  • Background in SaaS, Digital Products, Software Engineering, or Enterprise Technology environments.
  • Experience in Product Operations, PMO, Strategy \& Operations, or Technology Chief of Staff functions.
  • Strong business storytelling and executive presentation development skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable business communications.
