Job Summary:
restor3d is on a mission to provide personalized surgical solutions to patients undergoing orthopedic surgery. We are an innovative medical device startup seeking to improve human health by using advanced surgical planning, design, and 3D printing technologies to enables surgeons to improve the reconstruction and repair of the human body.
The Digital Platforms team is seeking an experienced Product Owner who will support proprietary software development in order to effectively scale business operations as our client base and case volumes increase.
Initial Project
The primary responsibility will be scoping, testing, and production support of the restor3d case management tool, r3id. This includes new feature and enhancement definition as well as developing processes for feature intake, communication, and change management practices.
Additionally, the Product Owner will be assisting the software product management team on related initiatives including our patient-facing application, 3d surgery planning application, internal reporting, and a myriad of automations and integrations orchestrated through r3id.
The Product Owner will report to the Sr. Product Manager and will collaborate with internal and external teams.

Duties and responsibilities
- Drive product vision by supporting the development and implementation of the overall product strategy as it relates to the restor3d Digital Platform and company’s objectives.
- Understand internal and external user process and data needs to design appropriate workflows based on learnings.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the long-term vision of the application and define minimum viable product iterations of development.
- Create detailed product roadmaps and communicate tradeoffs based on user requirements.
- Collaborate with Sr. Product Manager to further develop and implement product-development practices. Mentor broader cross functional teams in adoption of these best practices.
- Lead product launches, including coordinating with a cross functional team and external users, assisting with creation of product training, and implementation of strategies to track usage analytics and KPIs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in product management of web and mobile products.
- Experience working in high-performing product teams, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration, and an eye for UI/UX.
- Demonstrated success in leading development of products with internal and customer-facing features from inception to delivery, including an acumen for turning complex problems into actionable plans.
- Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, experience evaluating tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members.
Preferred education and experience:
- Experience developing software products in the healthcare space or clinical expertise.
- Experience working with FDA regulated software as a medical device (SaMD) product development.
- Experience working at a rapid growth startup.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
