ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our team, focused on developing innovative and trend-forward stationery and paper products. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in surface design and consumer product development, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Design and develop stationery and paper-based products (e.g., notebooks, greeting cards, planners, packaging, etc.)
- Create original surface pattern designs, artwork, and graphics aligned with brand direction and market trends
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and sales teams
- Manage projects from concept through production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
- Prepare production-ready files and work closely with vendors and manufacturers
- Research trends in stationery, gifting, and lifestyle categories to inform design direction
- Present concepts and collections to internal stakeholders and retail partners when needed
- Perform related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
- Portfolio demonstrating surface design, pattern development, and product application is required
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience preparing artwork for production
- Experience in consumer product development
- Familiarity with working with major retailers and understanding their requirements
- Previous experience in stationery or paper product design strongly preferred
- Knowledge of printing techniques and materials
- Strong organizational and project management skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BA/BFA Degree in Graphic Design, Surface Design, Textile Design, or Related Field with 2-5\+ years Design Experience
