Job Description
We are seeking an Educational Camp Program Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Education, this leader will: drive camps from concept through launch with operational rigor; translate commercial ambition into on-the-ground execution; and build the partner eco-system needed to scale. If you thrive in fast-paced, build-from-scratch environments and are fired up by Formula One and the power of STEM education, this role is yours to shape.
Main Duties:
Camp Strategy \& Proposition Development
- Co-define the STEM camp model with the Education Strategy \& Operations team — shaping format, positioning, operating model, and long-term expansion pathway from the ground up
- Drive the evolution from MVP to weekend day camps and ultimately scalable residential formats — owning the roadmap at each stage
- Ensure the camp proposition is commercially viable, operationally scalable, and anchored in the broader Education strategy
Operational \& Commercial Build
- Build the systems, partnerships, and processes needed to launch and sustainably operate camps — from scratch, at pace
- Own delivery readiness end-to-end: staffing, safeguarding, logistics, and systems infrastructure — everything required to go live with confidence
- Develop and stress-test budget assumptions, pricing logic, and unit economics — translating financial insight into clear, confident decisions
- Define the success metrics and reporting frameworks that matter — tracking participation, experience quality, and financial outcomes to drive continuous improvement
External Partnerships \& Ecosystem Development
- Serve as the central connector between Education and external delivery partners — keeping alignment tight and execution on track
- Forge and manage high-impact relationships with camp operators, venue partners, and education organizations that share our ambition
- Design and structure partnership models built for scale — creating the commercial and operational architecture to expand meaningfully across the USA
- Program manage curriculum development and ongoing enhancements — holding 3P agencies and content partners to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and brand integrity
Key Accountabilities:
Fulfil all organizational expectations, including but not limited to the following:
- Role model Values \& Behaviors, supporting and holding others accountable to do the same.
- Always ensure compliance with health and safety obligations, supporting managers to uphold expected standards.
- Ensure high standards of behavior and conduct are upheld across the organisation, including the wellbeing of team members.
- Ensure you adhere to brand rules and maintain high standards of department presentation.
- Comply with quality standards and identify and contribute ways to continuously improve department and personal performance.
- Ensure understanding of cost cap requirements and identify opportunities to improve optimization.
Core Competencies:
- Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional programs with multi-vendor partnerships and live, in-person operational delivery
- Deep operational and event planning experience, ideally in camp, experiential, or youth program environments where no two days look the same
- A builder’s mindset — demonstrated ability to take new initiatives from concept to delivery, owning the ambiguity along the way
- Strategic thinker with sharp analytical instincts and genuine commercial awareness — someone who connects dots across programs, partners, and P\&L
- Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments — self-directed, proactive, and energized by the challenge of building something from scratch
- Genuine passion for STEM education and the world of Formula One — you don’t just understand what we’re building, you believe in why it matters
- Knowledge of the STEM and camp landscape — particularly in North America — is a strong advantage
- Must be able to pass a DBS background check (required for working with children)
