Qualifications:

• Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Professional License:

Must be a PRC licensed Mechanical Engineer or Civil Engineer.

• Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years management experience.

• Skills \& Knowledge:

Effectively interpret construction drawings/schematic layouts and flow processes.

• Location Requirement:

Must be willing to work full-time at the Calatagan Cement Plant project site, Calatagan Batangas.

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer will oversee construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks. The role demands attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality results on time and within budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Construction Phase:

• Ensure that the construction is not deficient compared to the design.
• Conducts regular inspections to monitor the progress of the project and to ensure that the project is within the specified schedule, scope of work, and company standards and specifications.
• Prepares and submits weekly reports on project status.

2\. Administrative Tasks:

• Ensure that work programs are implemented within budget targets.
• Prepares and submits monthly stewardship reports.

3\. Coordination \& Support:

• Ensure timely interaction between project manager, designer, and construction manager.
• Attend on-site pre-construction meetings with the proponent, project manager, designer, and contractor.
• participate in departmental strategic planning.

4\. Coordination \& Support:

• Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design.
• Ensure that the design process recognizes current legislation, standards, and codes of practice where appropriate.
• Implement and monitor design programs and projects.
